about

I am a filmmaker and researcher working as a screenwriter, editor, and film director.

I have created over a dozen short fiction, documentary, and essay films. I hold degrees from both the Faculty of International and Political Studies at the Jagiellonian University in Krakow and the Directing Department at the Lodz Film School. At the latter, I completed my master’s thesis titled “Touching the Unspoken – On the Connections Between Jung’s Concept of Collective Unconscious and Andrzej Żuławski’s Film Work” under the supervision of Dr. Kuba Mikurda.

My media experience includes working at Radiofonia, a renowned community radio station in Krakow. I was also a columnist for the monthly magazine Pismo, where I authored the series Not All Is Lost, exploring initiatives that restore hope in times of crisis. My writing has appeared in other notable Polish publications, including Przekrój and Polityka magazines. I have been awarded scholarships from both the Free University of Berlin and the City of Warsaw Artists’ Program.

Currently, I am pursuing a PhD at the Lodz Film School, where I am conducting research on visualizing memory and reminiscence narratives under the supervision of Prof. Jolanta Dylewska.
