‘House in a Bottle’ is a confession of five people who had to be adults as children, and remain children as adults. It’s a full-lenght documentary adapting a bestselling Polish reportage of the same title written by Agnieszka Jucewicz and Magdalena Kicińska. The film follows five protagonists – Adult Children of Alcoholics. While the characters from the book differ in age, gender, education, and sexual orientation, they share a living past – childhood in an alcoholic home. This is the day they’ll openly share their stories for the first time.
