short fiction, 15′, 2016

On a sweltering Sunday afternoon, Ewa finds herself at a crowded, noisy car market in Warsaw’s distant suburbs with her 6-year-old son and husband. Amid the heat, dust, and grime, while her husband attempts to make the outing entertaining for the family, an exhausted Ewa seeks escape from the overwhelming environment. Her retreat leads her to a drifting car show, where she witnesses a serious accident. But even in such hellish conditions, miracles can happen.
